Monroe College Bachelors of nursing program

Published

Hey everyone. I’m currently starting my application process for Monroe college Bachelors of nursing program, Fall 2021. I’m quite nervous. As I’m an average student, I’m on my last year of high school. I don’t have the best grades but I said, hey let me give it a shot. Has anyone ever applied there ? How hard was it getting accepted ??  After submitting your application and doing your interview, how long did it take to get a reply from them if you were accepted or not ? Also, What did they ask in the interview questions ? What is school like there ? What’s the workload like and professors ? I really want to be accepted. Any advice and information anybody has would be great ! Thank you.

Who is your advisor? Mine is Luz Borges.

Hopefully they get back to us.

I hope so too. I’ll keep you updated.

I have a different Advisor.
I also just got an email to schedule the interview before 4/16.

Oh nice

Am thinking I did my interview because I spoke with my admission advisor already, and is marked on my application status already.

I haven’t received any yet. Hopefully tomorrow

But did you receive your admission letter yet? Are you starting this Spring session, because am thinking of starting September.

No I haven’t received any admission letter, I don’t think you’ll get a decision until you do your interview. I’m just saying even if your application said that you have done an interview just to be on the safe side, email them and see. I applied for the fall semester( September). I just logged into my portal and it has been updated that I did my interview, which I don’t recall doing. I had only gotten a phone call from my advisor last Thursday, where I was asked general questions nothing to do with nursing. The only think she had asked is “why did I want to become a nurse,” that’s regarding nursing. I was not prepared at all, as I wanted to perfect my answer. Now it seems as if that was the interview ?. I did not answer that question well?

What did you apply for exactly, what nursing program ?

Don’t beat yourself over the interview, they don’t based admission offer because of interview trust me because they know students has generic answers, when I did my LPN the interview was just informal nothing too serious, they offered me admission before they did the interview as far I can remember. Right now am just trying to take some classes with straighterline pending September instead of just doing nothing.

Yes it’s best that you continue doing classes. It beats doing nothing for real. Thank you for putting my mind at ease. Where did you do your LPN  if you don’t mind me asking, was it Monroe ?
