Monroe College Bachelors of nursing program

Hey everyone. I’m currently starting my application process for Monroe college Bachelors of nursing program, Fall 2021. I’m quite nervous. As I’m an average student, I’m on my last year of high school. I don’t have the best grades but I said, hey let me give it a shot. Has anyone ever applied there ? How hard was it getting accepted ??  After submitting your application and doing your interview, how long did it take to get a reply from them if you were accepted or not ? Also, What did they ask in the interview questions ? What is school like there ? What’s the workload like and professors ? I really want to be accepted. Any advice and information anybody has would be great ! Thank you.

race, ethnicity, and health

intro to health informatics

advanced writing for social sciences

intro to healthcare policy

(I wanted to take some of these on portage or excelsior but I couldnt get in contact w monroe to approve the courses...or to let me know if they would accept them)

Those portage have them? Because am taking my micro biology with them, Monroe only approved statistics for me to take.

portage had the race ethics one I think..but excelsior has all of them...they have to be approved from monroe first and honestly I let it go because the less courses the less financial aid

so for portage there's one called 'global religion and culture' and then there's 'intro to ethics' they are both under humanities ...the reason I was told those might have been allowed was bc I sent the syllabus to my advisor and both courses when you read the description are geared toward health care students/health related field. but I never heard back from the nursing department so I just left it alone LOL

Hey guys. For the ordering of the uniforms, are you guys going to order your pants/ bottoms and shoes from the Flynn website or elsewhere. I was thinking of purchasing elsewhere but I’m not sure if I can do that. I was thinking because they did not have logos like the scrub tops and jacket I could. What do you guys think ?

Um, I think the first semester is going to be online, so I don't even know if ordering uniform is necessary right now. Are you doing progressive or accelerated?

Yea if you’re doing ABSN you don’t need the uniform, health forms, until January. I was told this by Dr kastrov

You are allowed to order pants, sneakers/shoes, or anything that does not require a logo elsewhere. FYI! I felt the shirts ran a little big.
