Hey!
Has anyone been accepted to this Monroe college program? I know they used to have it and recently bought it back. Any thought?

This is kinda where my confusion is. If you're accepted into the program before completing those courses, then are you really in the program? Like if you pass all of those classes, you are guaranteed to continue into the nursing program/begin nursing courses?

Hi, I am currently in the program. I started sept 2020 and took these classes in fall. Now I am taking nursing classes in Winter and graduating dec 2021. These classes are technically part of the program even though they are called prereqs. And you are considered as already in the program. No further actions (except the health clearance for clinicals) is required to continue into the nursing portion.

Thanks for the clarification. Did you also take Biology/Living Environment at Monroe? How are liking the program so far?

I have been searching for a while, I am excited about this. I applied for the accelerated nursing program for January 2021. I have submitted all required document. Don’t know what my chances are in getting in but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Can anyone tell me what their requirements are so I can know if my chance of getting in the program is good. Also, how’s the nursing program at Monroe College? There is very little information about it online but I am not one that judges by ratings. Can anyone tell me about it. Thank you.
Hi I applied for the Progressive program and was accepted for Spring 2021. I don't know the exact start date of then program but I can keep you updated. Did you hear anything from the school?

But I need help/advice with the essay? Is it really the make or break decision? And was there an oral interview? I’m nervous about that.
Have you heard back about the Spring 2021?
Well the essay was easy for me, it was about who you look up too. I had been doing the process sin 8/2020 was til I could not do the accelerated by the counselor was going to be put in the progressive program. The I receive a letter on the 1/14 saying I didn’t get accepted. Called the director of admission and was told she put me in the accelerated program anyways, which makes no sense. Now I’m waiting for a call from him to see what can be done. But I’m applied at other programs I can be waiting.

Wow! 70% is a very high score and beyond proficient, it's either Monroe is filled for the Spring semester and they intend to admit for the April session. With that TEAS score, most schools will give you admission.
