Monroe College Accelerated 2nd Degree Nursing Program

Has anyone been accepted to this Monroe college program? I know they used to have it and recently bought it back. Any thought?

I have yet to receive even that, the last email I got from the school was the one saying there was an update regarding my application ?

As we can see this school moves really slow and a little shady but keep on them. They are probably still sending things out.

I got my financial aid estimate but still no nursing packet.. no one answers the phone or email and my financial aid advisor is on vacation. I need this to be sorted out smh

If you don’t finish your prerequisites you can’t start nursing courses, also you have to take four courses before starting nursing class, so until you fulfill all this requirement you can’t get the packet because you won’t be going into the nursing program direct, so I was told.

How did you get in contact whenever I try reaching out to the nursing department noone answers the phone

You should have gotten the packet by now because I also got mine last month after taking extra 8 more prerequisites so obviously, I am done with all the required prerequisite. The classes are ( Chemistry 1 and 2 , fundamental of communications, English 3, global health, intro to health informatics, statistics) if you haven’t taken all this classes be sure that they will register you for any class that is left. That’s what they do at Monroe??‍♀️ Don’t know why but whatever rocks their boat. Most important is that you start and finish.

How are you getting in contact? My advisor never answers and I can only get in contact with the admissions department who isn't any help. I completed all of those classes.

Hey! So you already took all the prerequisites and will be taking the nursing courses this upcoming fall right?

would you mind telling me about fundamental of communication, Global health and intro to health informatics?  I have all the other classes via my bachelors degree so hopefully they will accept all my other classes. 
 

I find it crazy no one has reached out after getting accepted or anything because I want to register for classes already or atleast speak to someone who can tell me what credits and classes will be transferring or not. I also need to know my class schedule ASAP especially for work. September is almost near !!’
