Monroe College Accelerated 2nd Degree Nursing Program

Has anyone been accepted to this Monroe college program? I know they used to have it and recently bought it back. Any thought?

Anyone registered for their prerequisite classes yet for the fall ?? Are they going back to classroom or is it virtual?

That’s what they do at Monroe??‍♀️ Don’t know why but whatever rocks their boat. Most important is that you start and finish.

Nope I was told I can take them through straighterline am just left with micro biology and am almost rounding up with portage learning.

I find it crazy no one has reached out after getting accepted or anything because I want to register for classes already or atleast speak to someone who can tell me what credits and classes will be transferring or not. I also need to know my class schedule ASAP especially for work. September is almost near !!’

quite easy classes, it’s online so you have nothing to worry about. They will call you to let you know the classes they registered you for. Don’t worry yourself about it and congratulations on your admission!

If your major is nursing they will register you for classes you don’t have to worry about that part. Even the pre reqs they will register you for. It’s frustrating being in the dark but you will be in the classes you need to be in order to complete the nursing courses. You probably won’t hear anything until next month

I got the packet and the information from my advisor with financial aid. They expect me to pay 1500 by next Monday when they just gave me my financial aid estimate on Friday. I'm going to the school tomorrow because I already missed so many deadlines due to their lack of communication and organization.

Also how many days/hours are their classes in a week schedule?

Hello lovely people, 

Hoping everything is going well for you all! I recently got accepted to Monroe for the fall 2021 semester. I just wanted to see if anyone had any information about what to expect next. I am currently in the process of finalizing my FA. Should expect to receive a package with the to do list before or after registering for classes? Also how did the program go for you all. I just want to have an idea of the usual schedule for classes and clinical. Do you all still recommend this program?

Hey everyone. If I want to get accepted for Spring 2021, when's the earliest you recommend submitting my application? It's kinda annoying how there's no set deadlines/dates...

Also what kind of questions do they ask in the interview? Thanks

Hi girl, do you mind to let me know how much Financial Aid cover? Since this will be my second degree, I worry about how much Federal will help....
