Monitoring and had a pETh test 5.5 days ago

I drank 2 shots (mini bottles) Friday and took a pETH test the following Thursday. I had not drank before. I didn't know or think about a pETh test. Huge mistake. It's been 3 days and no result yet. Any chance of passing? I know I risked a lot I just didn't think about it showing up for as long a pETh monitors. Thanks

I wanted to ask what is exactly  tested  on  the hair samples  can you list the  names they test for ?  Or can you look below and let me know if it's the 18,16 or 6 panel   When I looked it up they have different ones

Please understand this folks. ALL Hair test panels (both labcorp and quest) allow for Add Ons. Check their websites if you don't believe me. So, let's say you are selected for a standard hair panel. That panel and every other hair panel whether it's the standard 6 or 18 drugs ALLOW for add ons that your case manager can easily enter into the system in a matter of 10 seconds. What are common add on that NAILS people time and time again? Benadryl and antihistamines, Neurontin, Lyrica. I'm warning you, Benadryl had ended many of nurse careers, or if not ended, it's extended their monitoring. Do NOT take Benadryl or Neurontin without a scripts. These 2 are COMMONLY added on to hair panel tests and you will think you are only getting a standard panel, but in reality you are commonly being tested for Diphenhydramine (Benadry) and Neurontin.

for me they scheduled Hairstat 10 with egg now, drugscan blood option 12 and urine test. The hair test that I had a month ago was hairstat 12 that was negative. I looked up USDTL website and it shows the drugs on their panel. Amphetamines includes all of its metabolites methamphetamines and MDMA as one one drug category. Check out USDTL website.

I am only worried for hair etg at this point, rest of the things I am sure would be negative.

Common add ons that you will be tested for on many occasions in addition to the standard panel are Kratom, Spice, K2, Salvia, Neurontin, Benadryl, Lyrica Flexeril.  Go to USDTL website where they talk about add ons.

In my experience hair test is not sensitive for meth and Molly. I personally know a person who was using street Molly a lot almost daily for a month and stopped 2 weeks before testing and dye his hair and used detox shampoo but I was surprised his hair test came back negative. Also I know a person who did meth weekly and stopped a month ago before testing and his result was also negative. Hair test is very sensitive for THC for sure and very unpredictable for etg.

When did you use alcohol? From what I have read it's likely to pick up chronic drinking and maybe binge drinking.

In my experience, I know over 30 people who have tested positive for meth on a hair test and several of them did the detox shampoo. They tested positive and 4 of them are in prison. You are playing with fire with drugs and hair testing because the USDTL is literally getting better and better by the day. 

It's easy to "pick out the one guy or gal" who tests negative. Facts are, apply the above scenario you gave to 10,000 people and the overwhelming majority will test positive in a hair test for meth and Molly.

Here's an example of what I'm saying. "I knew a guy who once fell while rock climbing from a 70 feet fall" and he lived. That's awesome. But if you take 1000 people that fall 70 feet while rock climbing, the overwhelming majority die from the fall.

I am not sure what are the levels for cut off. On their site it says >20 pg/ml is for chronic excessive alcohol consumption. <8 pg/ml is for abstinence and in between reading is for occasional or moderate consumption. Still hair test is not a good test for quantification and it is more good test for qualitative purposes to tell whether has consumed alcohol or not. 1-2 drinks can even show up in a hair shaft or sometimes 3 drinks/occassion on 18 occasions would not show up. This is because it is absorbed from sweat into the hair strand so regular hair hygiene plays a great role. 

 

I consumed on 2 occasions one week apart. 4 drinks and 6 drinks almost a month ago from now. I have dye my hair and used detox shampoo. ETG has hydrophilic properties, so I have done a lot of multiple washings. Now lets see what it shows up.

I have heard these stories from people at rehab. It was their experience and they were worried before the results and shared it with me but their results were negative and I was surprised. Yes you are right USDTL is getting better and better but I think there should be some other factors that might impact the absorption of these drugs into the hair strand like body metabolism or natural hair color as these drugs attached to melanin in hair.

Is your hair lighter ? Lighter hair can help not darker.  Hoping for negative test for you. No more alcohol or " mood altering substances " until you are done with your sentence.

I was a drug user for a couple of years. Struggled with opioid and then came Meth. I smoked meth on occasion for like 5 months and I snorted heroin daily for 2 years. During this I was hair tested. I passed always using opioids but when I did the Meth I failed on super high levels like higher than what I actually used so yes u will fail for meth. I have no clue why I never failed for opioids. I did not drink at all or smoke pot. I also smoked meth and snorted heroin still after the test and retook it a 3 weeks later and passed by doing crazy bleach and cleanse on my hair. It's not worth it to do drugs at all! But it's not worth it playing with the tests either. You can get lucky and pass or u can fail and ruin your life. My ex also used the same as me and passed every time he took a hair test. Just like dumb me I don't have a drinking problem but I drank on monitoring and wasn't familiar with Peth and failed. Please be safe in whatever you're doing but u can't fool the system long. Wish everyone best of luck!
