Molloy Accelerated BS/MS Fall 2020

Hey guys!

I wanted to start a thread for anyone else applying to Molloy’s accelerated dual degree program for Fall 2020.

I also wanted to share that I spoke to an admissions representative and learned that they are now requiring the ATI TEAS for admission. The Nelson Denny and math screening are no longer being given.

I know it’s a little late, but I’m submitting my application this week for the ABSN fall program. Does anyone know if I need recommendation letters? It was not listed on their website.

When I applied, they didn’t ask for letters of rec. They didn’t even require an essay (I still submitted one). Hopefully things haven’t changed since then.

I was admitted to the Dual Degree program in for Fall 2020 and was looking to talk to some future classmates before the program begins in the fall. I'm taking Biological and Organic Chemistry in the second Summer session. Anybody else enrolled?

No, I took Organic Chem, and Biochemistry prior to applying. I am just waiting to take the English over the Summer. Good luck, you will be fine!

It’s fully online, I’m taking it this Summer. If you don’t take the Chemistry class then you aren’t able to take a full load of nursing courses this fall, from what the admissions person told me!

How long after you paid your deposit did it take to start enrolling?

Shortly after I paid the $400 deposit, Admissions was in contact with me and helped me enroll in CHE 1120. Within a business day or two.

Hey guys I know I'm sooooo late to this thread but I haven't been able to register for the TEAS exam until literally this week! Does anyone know if they are still accepting applications?! The soonest date I can take the TEAS near me is the 17th!! I know the application cycle is rolling - but I also know this program is competitive! I already submitted my application back in March but the pandemic delayed the exam!! Ty!

What was the admission process like? In terms of call backs/interview. Do you have any insight you can offer for how quickly/slowly the admissions process was?

Did you ever end applying? I did the same thing I submitted my application but was waiting to retake the TEAS and couldn’t with everything going on. They actually just emailed me saying my application was missing items, I was surprised because I thought for sure it would be closed right now. I tried calling and leaving a message but no call back yet.
