I am currently in the program now, graduating next Summer. There are about 54 students in the ABSN program. When I submitted my application in August of last year, I didn’t get a response until November from the nursing department, which was soon followed by an interview in January. Hi guys, I am pretty sure all of you recieved the email from Louise regarding the health forms. I already created my American Data bank account and I'm currently compliant. Do we need to forward the health forms that Louise sent to Adelphi?

I think Orientation is that day. I am not sure. I'm more concern about financial aid and loan options that will be offered. LOL

Hi Leslie, Once you register online for the training, the instructor will reach out and send you a link to pay and confirm your attendance via zoom. The virtual training had 5 different modules that the instructor will cover within 1-2 hours. At the end of the modules, you will take your comprehensive exam which consists of 25 questions. Then, the instruction will communicate with you regarding your availability to come in for your skill practice. I went right after my virtual training. I was in there for literally 15 minutes. I'll just say it's very easy and time consuming. PS: I already had my BLS certification. I just had to renew. So it was very easy for me to pass my skill test. Hope this helps.

That's why your interview is in March. I have heard from previous students that they want to see how well you're doing in those classes.

They don't tell you during the interview if you have been accepted. They usually reach out within 2 business days. I also think that they wouldn't give you an interview unless your application stood out to them.

It's been about 2 weeks since I received the email. I was able to obtain my BLS virtually. Right now I am just working on my health clearance. Hopefully we hear from them soon.

I have not received any acceptance email or packet yet. I did receive an email from Louise with all the documents I need to sign along with the steps for health clearance.

My questions were basically about safety measures that Adelphi has put in place to protect both students and faculties. I also asked them about the cost of the program and the amount of financial aid that is given out to transfer students. Hope this helps.

Hi @Irene Mejia, the interview was about 30-40 mins. Time did go by fast because I wasn’t doing all the talking. The committee spends about 20 minutes taking about the program and Adelphi’s values and missions. Then, they spend 10 minutes answering questions that I had prepared to ask them. So you’re only be taking about yourself for an average of 10-15 minutes which is not bad at all.
