I wanted to make a forum for all applicants for MJC 2021. We can all share our questions, concerns, share our points/TEAS scores, and updates we get from the school!

Anyone hear any news yet? I am kind of frustrated MJC didn’t leave a timeline on the nursing page of when we will be getting acceptance/denials. Also is anyone applying for delta college next week?

I haven’t heard anything but I saw somewhere we wouldn’t hear anything until July! I am also applying to Delta next week.

If anyone heard from Delta prior to MJC which one would you choose?

I applied with 83 points. I picked the Columbia Campus bc I live in Toulumne county. I wish we would hear back sooner than July.

 ? that’s what the director of the Program said at a zoom informational. She said due to COVID they do not want to jump the gun if they cannot supply clinicals.

Which one did you end up applying to ? I live near the Columbia campus so I applied there

For Columbia they were sticking with the small 10 per term so 20 total per application process and they were reducing to 40 each term at MJC so 80 students total.

@Janay Kay Bostic That's actually the usual number of students that are admitted per campus/semester during the yearly application period*... so that's good news! Your guys' chances of getting in aren't lower than normal, at least not like last year's group was!

*not including the LVN/Psych Techs transferring in to 2nd or 3rd semester, which can vary
