Hi Everyone. I will be applying to MJC nursing program this May 2016/17. I will be taking my Teas early April for the first time, but so far without my Teas I have 68 points on my application. Anyone who is applying to mjc, I'd love to get an idea where everyone else is at and what my chances might be. Also if you could share what you scored on your teas and what do u think the cut off would be this year... So excited to hear back from u all :) :)

Applied with 73 points. Got asked for docs!! Very excited!! Hoping I am not part of the waitlist..

I am shocked that 68 points did not get asked to submit docs... Blown away

A friend of mine had 69 points and she did not get asked to submit docs.

Whoa! That is crazy. I think someone said 62 was the lowest for docs last year. I had 78 points.., hopefully enough

Thank you for the kind words. It certainly came as a shock. I am readjusting my life plans for the next 12 months and will spend more money retaking the new teas and trying to scrape a few more points together. It is hard because I have to work full days so I can only take night courses. But I am not giving up. :)

I've been following this thread for a while, just haven't posted. I applied with 68 points too and two B's in my sciences. I plan on spending the next year trying to increase my points. Any way I could get that PM too? I think I know the process but want to see if I'm right. Thanks!

On the application summary it does not say anything about providing copies of a social security card or drivers license. Do they ask for all that after acceptance, or am I missing something and it is supposed to go in the documentation packet? I just wanted to make sure because other schools I have applied asked for this info to be included in the doc packet. Thanks :)

They do not require either for documentation packet. Just a copy of the summary page, transcripts (only if you haven't sent them to Mjc already), and any other supporting documents forms.
