Hi Everyone. I will be applying to MJC nursing program this May 2016/17. I will be taking my Teas early April for the first time, but so far without my Teas I have 68 points on my application. Anyone who is applying to mjc, I'd love to get an idea where everyone else is at and what my chances might be. Also if you could share what you scored on your teas and what do u think the cut off would be this year... So excited to hear back from u all :) :)
Since no one seems to be posting whether they got in or not and the scores I will. I had 68 points on my application. Got a 87 percent on the TEAS and I did not get in. So unless you have all A's, are an LVN already and have taken all 3 bonus point classes, don't bother. The lesson here is that my two B's (out of 7 grades they care about) were enough to screw me out of the pool. Your mileage may vary. I wasted two years of night classes and it's, "Sorry try again". What a waste of money and time.

That is really frustrating. I am sorry and I can understand why that would be very upsetting
Yup, I went back and did the math, two Bs cost me 10 points. I need to look into mjc's course retake policy since the only way to raise my points enough is to get at least one of those Bs to an A. Does anyone know if you can retake for a better grade and is there a penalty?
I sent you a PM about retaking the sciences if those are your Bs.

Applying to Columbia with 66 points. Praying that I get in! Anyone else applying there? I've been accepted as an alternate for San Joaquin Delta College, but Columbia is my first choice.
