MJC Spring 2017 Applicants

Published

I am applying for the nursing program at MJC in May. Where are my fellow hopefuls at? I'm applying with 65 points not including my TEAS test, I haven't taken it yet. I'll take the test in March. I purchased the ATI study manual and have so far found quite a few answers in the KEY wrong.

Correct me me if I'm wrong but the cutoff for points last year was 70-71. How are you doing so far?

Yup, it's official. MJC hates me. hahahaha I'm literally pulling my hair out thinking that it's going to change every time I log out and back into the website. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong page? idk. lol arggghhh!!!

Someone else with a 78 got the supporting docs status as well.

I got asked for supporting docs. 80 here.

You're checking the top of the page, not the re writing.

The red writing will not change yet, just the application status.

Thanks for the clarification. It just says, "Application Status: ACTIVEACTIVE05/08/2017 16:37:30" maybe it just needs to be reviewed still?

I know this is kind of off topic, but does anyone have any idea what the program schedule looks like? Like how many days a week the program is?

I have heard that school it's self is only 2 days per week. But that you will easily spend 4 days a week at school during the program studying and prep airing for clinicals. Plus there is the actual clinicals.

Thank you for the info!

77 points have also been asked to provide documents does anyone know if 75 or below have been asked?

I have been asked to submit supporting docs with a score of 70

MJC or Columbia.

MJC or Columbia.

Mjc for me.

Hey everyone! Just received the official email about supporting docs :)

Nice! Congrats I just got mine also. Now we just have to wait until July 18th :)

If you look at the ADN course curriculum on the MJC website and then see what the first semester classes are, you can check the fall schedule on PiratesNet. Its been posted for a while now. That will tell you what the schedule for Fall nursing will be! The only exception will be the clinical group you are placed into. Hope that helps.
