This was the 2nd time I've missed my clinical day because I did not hear my alarm clock!!! It is so frustrating. It's considered "no call no show". my instructor woke me up at 9 and just railed me about it because this happened twice! no more excuses I can think of. I'm just so disappointed and frustrated with my alarm clock. Guys, what can I do about this? one more day of clinical tomorrow and I'm all done!! I just want to wake up in time to go to clinical tomorrow morning and be all done with it. anybody want to give me a morning call? jk lol
I had that problem, and ran through two alarm clocks b/c they died being used on high all the time. Finally, I got a vibrating alarm clock. They are used for hearing impaired people and shake you awake. You put the vibrating part under the mattress (or pillow). It also has a noise part that you can use in conjunction, but it's too annoying for me. I've yet to sleep through it. It's awesome!
found a new trick. I have the ipod touch. I use that alarm clock. Last night I had been listening to music through the ipod speakers. When turned off the music I forgot to unplug the speakers.
Well when the alarm went off it went off through the speakers. I had no troubles getting up this am. lol..

Lol. He said it's a really old Sony Dream Machine, which happens to also be what I use...however mine is no where near as...violent...as his when waking you up.
