Missed check in with affinity with selection

Missed check in due to hectic work day, immediately emailed my case manger through affinity and BON website, of course it was after 6pm, she emailed me back the next morning stating that I was selected and I missed the check in, and now my license is suspended for 2 years with the LPN board, has anyone had any experience with the board reconsidering? i also tested the next day at a drug site via my employer to show compliance, Btw this is in Louisiana.

Update, got it back with an extension of 3 months of probation and 700 dollars of a fine and fees ?

I’m SO relieved that you got it back! That’s the most important piece of information here that will be live altering in a positive way.

Unfortunately it does not come as a shock that they are using this as an opportunity to fleece you. In the end you’ll emerge strong and find freedom. Don’t let them break down your spirit - it’s the part of you they can’t have.

I was summary suspended by the Louisiana lpn board. For refusing to take a drug screen.I am waiting for them to send me the paperwork. I found out from nursey. I am getting into a IOP program today. Can you give me any insight on how it's going to work with the board?

It’s pure hell!! Why are you going to IOP, was that in the agreement, don’t do more than they ask? How long are you probation terms?

I haven't received anything yet from BON. I am going because I need too. La. Lpn board doesn't have a alternative to discipline program.

I didn’t use an attorney, if you have credible witnesses I would fight it.
