Hi guys! Just creating this thread for all of my fellow applicants for Mira Costa and Palomar College's 2018 Fall RN program(s). I figured we could talk TEAS and points and see where we stand among each other as well as past cohorts.
Goodluck to everyone!!!! :)
Is there anyone who still hasn't heard anything from Palomar? I haven't heard anything good or bad yet and just want to make sure I'm not the only one. Emailed them today, but haven't received a response yet!
I haven't heard anything yet either. Stressing out over here but trying to stay positive!
Hi all! Does anybody know what happens when you accept a seat at Palomar? Are you not allowed to retract that if need be? I was accepted to Palomar and I am an alternate for MiraCosta. MiraCosta is my first choice but I don't want to lose my spot at Palomar if I end up not making it into Fall as an alternate for MCC.
Would like to know the answer to this as well!! I am still deciding. I would like to attend palomar and Mira costas orientation before deciding...
For those of you that applied to Palomar, did you include your humanities class on your application? I'm planning to take one in the fall but have all of my pre-requisites done so I just put "In Progress" on my application. I tried calling and emailing them to ask if that was okay, but never heard back. It says that it doesn't count for points, but I wasn't sure if it was required for the application to be considered.

I didn't t include that on the application, they don't count it towards your points or prerequisites. You will need it to get the aADN so is good I'll be taking in the fall. I have a 2 classes from their humanities section from my AS already so hopefully it counts for theirs too.
