Mira Costa / Palomar Fall 2018 RN program

Published

Hi guys! Just creating this thread for all of my fellow applicants for Mira Costa and Palomar College's 2018 Fall RN program(s). I figured we could talk TEAS and points and see where we stand among each other as well as past cohorts.

Goodluck to everyone!!!! :)

When is Palomar sending out the e-mails? Does anyone know.

I have no clue, but anxiously waiting :-\

End of May/ Beginning of June!

Oh, wow! Ok, I was thinking end of April. Thanks

I got my email today :-) check your emails!

Got my acceptance email from Palomar a few minutes ago!!!! Congrats to the ones that got in!!

I got my acceptance as well! Congratulations everyone!!

I'm definitely giving up my Palomar spot, so that's one for an alternate.

I am having trouble deciding between Grossmont and MCC :/ I like oceanside better and the small program, but I like Grossmont's clinical locations more. I also don't know where I will be living in the county because my partner is just finishing their BSN this May.

Oh well, it's a good problem to have Congrats on acceptances!

Congratulations you guys! Still no email for me :-(. Can I ask what your points were?

I had 87-88 points. Stay positive!!!

Super happy for those of you who have been accepted! congrats! :) i can't believe they already emailed, as the website says "late may/early june".

How many of you have been accepted? also do any of u plan on accepting a spot with another school?

kinda stressed and anxious... obviously no email/response indicates the outcome. trying to be positive, yet realistic!

Also, just so I have an idea... When do those of you who have been accepted have to accept/decline? I presume that is when they will start sending out another round if there are people who choose to go elsewhere.

Hello all!

I just started my account here to be able to post that I was accepted into the fall 2018 ADN program at Palomar!

I wasn't accepted at MiraCosta, I didn't have enough points. I have a previous Bachelor degree, CNA license, 91.3% TEAS score, 4.0 in sciences, 3.9 in core, for 85ish total points.

I am very excited!

Looking forward to connecting with some of my fellow cohort members leading up to the start of school.

Cheers!
