Hi everyone,
I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for everyone applying or hoping to apply for any ADN programs (Mira Costa, Palomar, Grossmont, SCC, MSJC, etc.) in the Spring!
Feel free to post questions, potential points, admission notifications, etc.! I'm super anxious to hear everyone's experiences and compare points! :)
Hi everyone! I just wanted to say congrats to those that got in already for Palomar and crossing my fingers for those who are still waiting to hear back! I'm currently a 1st-semester student at Palomar and I can relate to most of you being really nervous about hearing back from schools because that was me just few months ago. But I just wanted to ask for those who are coming to Palomar's Orientation on Novemeber 27th, is there anything that you guys wanted to hear from the current first semester students. We have 6 students from my cohort, including me coming to the orientation on the 27th to talk to you guys about our experience so far and the different expectations nursing school has from you. If you have any suggestions or questions about nursing school that you would like to hear or have answer to, please reply to this message before the 27th so my cohort can come up with the best answer or advice for you guys starting in the Spring 2019.
Thanks :)
Hello! As a first semester student, are you able to take time to work, at least part-time? Or is the program pretty intensive to where you have to spend all the time studying you have? I've heard mixed reviews from people pertaining to this, was hoping to get your input on this? I imagine this is a pretty popular question, but just in case!

Hey! I am wondering if I can take the exam to become a CNA at the end of the first semester.. I want to work as a CNA thru nursing school and i've heard you can take the test after a partial completion of the RN program.

Do you think there's any hope for people that haven't gotten an acceptance in the second round?
