Midwestern University CRNA Applicants 2024

Updated:   Published

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in.

Stats:

  • 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical
  • GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses
  • Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

Good luck everyone !

Specializes in ICU.

Just received my denial letter. Which I anticipated but it still stings.

Did you get any feedback from faculty on why? Seems like your GPA is very competitive!

Anyone heard back yet? For interview offer?

I received an interview offer on 12/12; I applied on 11/6

Nice! Would you mid sharing your stats? I've heard they care a lot about GPA.

did they email you or give you a call? when are the interview dates?

Thanks! Sure - 4.0 nursing/science GPA, CCRN, precepting, research with AACN publication, ~2 years on CTICU taking ECMO, impella, durable VAD, RVAD, IABP, CRRT.

Best of luck! Hope you hear something soon.

Email. I'm interviewing at the beginning of April. There are a handful of dates at the end of March as well.

That's really good! Congrats on getting an interview.

I haven't heard anything yet. I applied at the end of the first week that the application cycle was open.

I have not heard anythign either. I applied about 2 weeks after the app opened. I guess the holidays slow things down also.

Are we supposed to submit transcripts to the school? I literally just posted my school and the GPA and the # or units, but it doesn't ask for transcripts. This is like the weirdest application I've done so far.

Unfortunately, you still have to send them.

Did you submit supplemental material when you applied such as certifications and letters of recommendation? Or did they ask for that when you were offered an interview? If you sent it in when you applied where did you send it? Is there any email address or mailing address I'm missing to submit supplemental material?

Thanks!
