Midwestern University CRNA Applicants 2024

Updated:   Published

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in.

Stats:

  • 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical
  • GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses
  • Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

Good luck everyone !

Someone I know just got off the waitlist... Has anyone else heard back from the school lately?

Hi everyone,

I am in the process to apply for 2025 fall semester at MWU. Does anyone have any insight on how the interview process is and how quickly after the application do they ask for interview?

Does anyone know when do applications open for 2025?

It opens up on November 1st on NursingCAS. I had checked with admissions.

They mentioned NursingCas? I didn't think they used it in the past?

They have been using it. That's what the university website says too

Last year it was an application directly on MW's website. This year it will be through NursingCAS.

Do you know if nursingcas will calculate our GPA or if MW will? NursingCas doesn't remove failed classes from the past even if you have retaken the class which hurt my GPA on other applications.

I'm not sure to be honest. I have heard of other CRNA programs that will calculate your GPA on their own and ignore the NursingCas GPA. Maybe somebody will need to reach out to MW to see if they have a plan for this

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.  I just wanted to have some insights about the interview. How was your experience with it? Was it clinical or emotional based question or mixed of both? Any advice or insights are much appreciated

Hi! Anyone have any advice on the interview or any tips? thanksss
