Midwestern University CRNA Applicants 2024

Super nervous! Midwestern University is officially the first school I have truly submitted to and hoping to get in. 

Stats: 

• 6 years ICU: neuro, trauma, surgical, medical 
• GPA 3.83 with some grad level courses 
• Science GPA is about 3.5- so a little low

I was accepted this afternoon as well.

If we don't get accepted I hope they'll notify us of waitlist or denial today as well. That's what they made it seem like when we interviewed anyway. Earlier in this thread or one of the previous year's threads I'd read that this program has a reputation for ghosting applicants if they're not admitted. Hopefully that's not the case this year.

To be honest, I left the interview with some confidence. In my thank you email, I made sure to have answers (in the same depth during the interview) for questions I did not have appropriate responses to. One of their replies gave me some assurance... but in typical fashion, I doubted myself during the waiting period 😓

For those waitlisted, applicants have until 5/23 to accept the offer. Best of luck to all moving forward. Keep trying and don't give up!

During the interview I thought l remember being told that those accepted would be called and those rejected would get an email  but those on the waitlisted wouldn't really hear anything back for a while... I was surprised to receive an email.
