Hello everyone, I thought I would fill you all in on the process when it comes to the letters. You will not receive a letter in the mail. After everyone has sent in the form accepting their seat then you will receive another email about the meeting(not until the end of July most likely). The meeting is usually not until after classes have started. Just thought I would ease your minds because I once too waited and worried.

@cheri55 Ok so why did jeana say in her email that she would be sending official letters out? Is that letter just a letter to accept the offer? Because we haven't gotten anything about accepting our seat or anything like that in an email or in the mail. The only things we have gotten are the email stating we were accepted into the program and email telling us to get our fingerprints done. I figured the meeting would be more towards the end of august because that had the meeting for spring 2015 the week classes started as well.

I did not realize that you guys hadn't even gotten the letter to accept but the fact is it will all come to your email. When it does come to your email is will back to back the letter to accept and info for the meeting. I just thought some people where waiting for the mail man. It has been like this every semester so you guys are not the only ones that have anxiety about how long it is taking, they just take a long time(from what it seems). Just was trying to ease the minds of everyone on the post. Enjoy the summer it will all come soon enough.

@cheri55 Thank you, that does ease the mind knowing that they are just slow with the process. Will be on the look out for email though instead of the mail. Thank you again for clearing that up and you have a great summer as well.

@tsiondesta2 where are you planning on staying? In mustang village did you do through housing

I just spoke to jeana and she told me the reason we havent gotten the email is because they have to get a room through the registrar office and they were being really slow because of summer school starting but she said now that it has started they should be giving them a room for orientation soon and letters would be emailed soon hopefully.

@keunnamonae i applied for housing thru the school at Mustang village. i made like 100 deposit in jan, but now im changing my mind because my friend who graduated this year told me its wayyyy cheaper to go rent an apt with a roommate or roommates. so if i find an apt and a roommate, i wont be staying at mustang V

I looked at some of the apartments around campus I didnt really like any of them besides mustang village. Maybe that would be cheaper but I just dont want to go through the hassle of trying to get furtinture lol

@keunnamonae mustang village is better to stay in. We don't have to buy furnitures, bed or a dresser. I rather stay there and not worry about buying all those. And for the letters it makes sense now why they haven't sent it. Hopefully it's sent out soon. For the main time just getting my stuff for school coz it's getting really close. The year is moving so fast..

@lorr19 yeah I know this year is flying by like I can believe it june, august is going to be here so quick if it keeps going this way. Yeah I have gotten some stuff for my apartment and trying to wait to see who my roommates are to see what they already have for like the kitchen so we can just coordinate and wont buy stuff dont need. I called housing the other day and they said room assignments should be out mid to late june. Have to get stuff for apartment and get all these books for nursing so much money lol
