Has anyone gotten shots or know anything about that? I havent even started because I was waiting on letters

@keunnamonae am also waiting to see who my room mates are so we know who brings what, and not buy stuff twice. But am buying my cutleries though and plates separately just incase. I have done my shots everything. I did that back last month; the hospital I volunteer for got them for free. Didnt take everything as some of them hasn't expired, just updated some. You cant take all, as some are for life. You don't want to take again.

@lorr10 yeah I hope they send us assignments soon. I got some tubeware and silverware but that it for kitchen everything else for my room. Yeah I know some I already have but I need to get the rest or update them. Need to get my medical records. Did you get the list shots we need from the msu page?

@keunnamonae hopefully we are given room assignments soon enough. Yes I got the list of shots we need from Msu page. When I go for orientation I would give jeanna a copy of my shots and all so it's updated in the system.

@lorr19 yeah I need to look up the shots so I can go ahead and get those done. Yeah I wanna know who my roommates are so bad lol. Yeah I'll be doen there this month 16-18 hopefully we will have gotten emails by then so I can just hand deliever the acceptance and my shots if I have them done. Your still going to orientation this month right?

The meningitis shot is for the university. The nursing program has different immunization that we have to have before we can do clinicals, I think they are the same immunizations you have to have if you work in a hospital. They are on the nursing page under immunization policy

Hi everyone! My name is Ini, and I am in the same boat with you all to start nursing school in the fall. This is my first post and I have a couple of questions. When you all received the blue card did you mail it to the Wilson School of Nursing, or did you all drop it off during MORE orientation? I just received mines not too long ago. Has anybody received an official mail, letter of acceptance? Is anyone in this chat from the DFW area? I am signing up for an apartment, through university housing to live in Mustang Village. Does any one need a roommate? I would prefer to room with another nursing student, someone I can talk to, and get to know before hand. Comment back or email me at [email protected].

@ini.adedokun The blue card we hold on to until we have nursing orientation which I believe will be towards the begininng of the school year in August. We have received 2 emails so far, one saying that we were accepted into the program and one about fingerprints. We have not received a letter about accepting the spot we were offered. That letter will also be sent via email according to jeans the last time I spoke to her. I am in Wichita Falls now so I will probably go ask her when we will get these letters. Last time she said we hadn't gotten them because she was waiting on the registrars office to give her a room for us to have orientation in. Have you already submitted your housing application? When did you submit because if you just did it then your probably won't get mustang village because those are the apartments that go the fastest. You had to submit your housing application really early to have a chance at those. I submitted by housing app back in February and still not sure if I am going to get mustang village. Hopefully I get my room assignment next week

@keunnamonae thank you for answering my question. I applied for housing late. Since housing arrangements are coming out next week, I've accepted that I won't be able to get room. So I might just go directly through Mustang village.
