So, I interviewed virtually yesterday afteroon , but was supposed to log in in the morning for info session, which I missed. After my interview, the program director told me to log out and log in in about 10mins to do the info session that I missed. So, I logged in back and after she told me about program set up, clinical sites info, and all that. Her next statement was I want to congratulate you for getting accepted into our program. I was so excited, that I started screaming OMG..OMG. So it was immediate acceptance after the interview.
Good luck to those still interviewing ,those yet to be invited and those on wait list

Hi friends!
I interviewed for MWU on 11/09 and didn’t hear anything back until I received an “alternate” email today. Has anyone experienced receiving the waitlist email almost a month after interviewing? The email also says this alternate list is not ranked. Does anyone else know more about this?

I also interviewed early in the application cycle (Oct) but never heard anything. I assumed waitlisted until today when I got the e-mail as an alternate. I am not sure but I feel like the alternate list is for applicants that may be selected if/when someone else decides to drop their acceptance. This is just speculation at this point though.
I don’t know what an alternate is either but good luck!!
At the interview they said the waitlist is ranked so an alternate may be an alternate for the waitlist if it says it isn’t ranked.
