  1. Take the words about them grilling you with a grain of salt, that’s a subjective statement. Each person interprets it differently. I literally nailed all my interview questions at my school, I felt like they were nice and asked a lot of questions but didn’t feel grilled. I have solid experience and really took the time to prepare. Another person that went before me, said they absolutely grilled her, she told me this 2 minutes before they called me in to my interview. I had a totally didn’t interpretation. Just keep that in mind is all I want to add. Maybe that person felt that way cause they weren’t truly prepared, I don’t know, but go in with open mind, take a deep breath and think through the questions. I had flash cards I made of 75 personal type questions and about 100 clinical cards made. I tried to research all types of questions that could be asked. It helped me hugely. good luck. I hope it goes well for you.
  2. Honestly, some of it is real life, anesthesia is hard, you deal with some real anxiety at clinical with them always questioning you, surgeons being their typical surgeon selves (sorry to the surgeons who are super nice and personable) and you are expected to be on it all the time. I would try to do some mock interviews as that helps decrease the anxiety for many. I did one, then at my first interview I did well and got into my number one school. I think the panel wants to see how you do with adversity as it says a lot about someone’s character and ability to persevere.
  3. Take a deep breath, think through the questions, don’t *** if you don’t know. Make sure you understand the drugs and modalities you use inside and out.
  4. Good luck everyone, I was accepted to my number one program so I won’t be attending but I hope everyone kills the interview !
  5. I was told about that before by critical care exam. If I reach out to them I will.
  6. They did say with the addition of the personality test and glitches with that, to expect delays. I may contact them too to inquire.
  7. Nope nothing yet. I’m thinking I didn’t make it through to the interviews but they could still be notifying interview candidates.
  8. At the interview they said the waitlist is ranked so an alternate may be an alternate for the waitlist if it says it isn’t ranked.
  9. I don’t know what an alternate is either but good luck!!
  10. @Jason Warhurst Congrats and good luck!! Look at previous replies as there is one that is answered about interview.
  11. Good luck to those still waiting!! @CNAtoAnesthesia The interview is a mix of personal questions and clinical. The clinical piece was driven by my experience it seemed. The personal questions were ones you would expect. CRNA prep has a test bank of a bunch of questions, practice all those and you should be good.
