Does anyone know about this hospital? Is it a decent place to work? It looks like it is a fair size hospital. I see that they are getting a new facility. Any info would be appreciated.

Middletown Regional is actually going to be replaced by the new facility, Atrium Medical. The new hospital is scheduled to open in about six days. It's supposed to be fabulous...I've actually heard a lot of good things about Middletown Regional.

Specializes in lots of specialties.

I am actually looking into what their hospital offers....I wasnt sure about the pay...when I checked as an LPN it was pretty damn low on the pay scale.....like below 15.00......I am just wondering if anyone works there currently?

I don't know about the new "Atrium" but if Middletown Regional doesn't get some new doctors and nurses, I wouldn't take my dog there for a toe nail removal.

Atrium Medical Center is now open, it's a gorgeous hospital with a beautiful campus and they are supposedly attracting a lot new nurses and physicians. I don't currently know a whole lot there about wages, bonuses, etc. but I worked there as a pharmacy technician and we were on the low end of pay for our field and for 2007 they jacked the price of insurance up so much I couldn't afford to work there anymore. My best friend is an LPN at Atrium Medical Center. They do start at $15 base pay, more with shift differential and experience. I think with the new facility they are offering more benefits such as discounts on YMCA memberships since there is supposed to be a Y on the new campus.
