  1. What is a teaching model? Our class is to do a research project on a diagnosis that our patient has and one part of the report is suppose to be a teaching model. Can anyone tell me what that is?
  2. Thnx RN Power Ohio, thats the bill I was referring too I didn't get to read enough of it to get the whole jest of what it was about:yeah:
  3. Read a blurb in a newsletter today about am act of leg. that is trying to get be passed supposedly so that LPN's will not be recognized as real nurses in the state of Ohio. Has anyone else seen that?
  4. ] ]I am a Medical Assistant, S.T.N.A., and as of 10-08 will be a Practical Nurse. Except for the fact that all of those titles have something to do with meds. they are quite different. The training and the emphasis of what is important are different in each of these. Sometimes you just need to sit down and lay out the expectations, over and over, and remember some heads are thicker than others
  5. I don't know about the new "Atrium" but if Middletown Regional doesn't get some new doctors and nurses, I wouldn't take my dog there for a toe nail removal.
  6. If you are planning to attend U.C., I would check into working at University Hospital. I know when I worked there 16 years ago as a Medical Assistant, the tuition reimbursement made it worth the hourly wage not being so wonderful
