Middle Georgia State University (MGA) Fall 2024

Published

Has any applied to MGU and got accepted? An ICU nurse at my job told me about the program stating she had low test scores and a 2.6 GPA and got accepted into the program. I have a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.25GPA in my sciences. I applied to southern crescent last year(as they don't have restrictions of the age of sciences) with a HESI A2 score of 82 and didn't get in.  Some of my sciences are expired and I didn't see any restrictions on the school site about expired classes. I noticed they reopened applications to 4/30/24. I applied for the school and sent over my transcripts and rushed to take the TEAS before the deadline but made a 67 on the TEAS. BUMMER. but it's passing and above the required score so I could still apply. I wondered what other who've been accepted looked like.

Yes ours is on the way today I'm claiming it LOL!! My GPA was 3.1 and TEAS was a 70 which I probably should've retaken but said I'll try my luck with that.

my TEAS was a 67 and I'm in the program now. Don't worry! if you didn't get accepted it's more than likely due to the number of seats available. It's 200 less seats in Spring than fall I believe. Anybody not accepted this go round, APPLY FOR FALL! this school is so organized and the professors are wonderful!

@Monise Jai did you move to Macon or Warner robbins or are you commuting daily?

Lecture is Monday and Lab/Clinical is Thursday. I just commute. It's an Hour 45 min drive for me but I'm used to driving distances for work and I traveled as a med tech during the pandemic so I don't mind the drive
