Middle Georgia Applicants Fall 2014

Okay, Lets get it started! Who has applied to Middle Georgia College for Fall 2014? If you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA and Hesi scores? My GPA is 3.8 and my Hesi score was 82 over all with an 80 in Reading and an 86 in math! Does anyone know what they base their decision on? More on GPA than Hesi? The wait is going to kill me! Is anyone already in the BSN program that can tell me how it is?

I called as well and that's what I was told, too. "Letters for the first round will hopefully be going out by next week."

It's true May 12, 2014 is the deadline for second selections. This is posted the Middle Georgia State College Facebook page.

Also, I went to the online application section and they have a new evening and weekend ASN program for the Warner Robins and Dublin Campuses? That's going to be awesome for people that are balancing work and families. Hopefully everyone on here have already been accepted;).

I wish I had known they were going to have that! I live in Warner Robins and I'm a stay-at-home mom/student.

oh wow, that would have been a perfect program for you. Once you're accepted maybe they will give you the option of joining that cohort. I wish they had that option for the BSN because I'm tired of paying for daycare and my daughter could stay home with me. It will be interesting to see how the clinical hours are arranged.

I"m guessing the clinical hours must be on weekends - at least primarily.

I don't think they will since it seems like that's what this new application period is for, but oh well. I'll accept a spot without complaint either way!!

Went by the Nursing Dept. and asked about the new application period. They informed me that if you do not get into the first round (hope to know next week), then you can apply again and try for the second round! :yes::up: They had plenty of applicants they are just bringing in more faculty and will be able to accept more students!! PLEASE if you get your letter in the mail, post that you received it ASAP..I'm losing sleep and cant wait to be able to relax! lol... Still keeping my fingers crossed! Hopefully we will meet each other in the Fall!!!! :woot:

Drum roll please.....i received my acceptance letter today for the Fall BSN program...This waiting was well worth it, Lord knows it was....

Has anyone received anything yet or called again? Nothing here yet...I'm thinking about calling just to see if I can still expect it this week. I don't want to be expecting it and get nothing!
