Middle Georgia Applicants Fall 2014

Published

Okay, Lets get it started! Who has applied to Middle Georgia College for Fall 2014? If you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA and Hesi scores? My GPA is 3.8 and my Hesi score was 82 over all with an 80 in Reading and an 86 in math! Does anyone know what they base their decision on? More on GPA than Hesi? The wait is going to kill me! Is anyone already in the BSN program that can tell me how it is?

I applied to both BSN and ASN. I hope I at least get into one of them! I will let y'all know as soon as I get my letter in the mail! I think our GPAs and Hesi scores are competitive enough, so fingers crossed!

Letters are going out by the end of next week. I was just emailing one of the people that are reviewing the nursing applications. So now I will literally be stalking my mailman. lol good luck to everyone!!

That's great! I emailed the general address, but didn't get a response.

I wonder how many applied to the BSN and how many are accepted? ASN? I never thought to ask that question! I will be stalking my mailman also! lol

I thought it was 15 for each program? Or maybe 30 each...I can't remember.

I just called. Letters should be out by the 1st week of April. For each program (ASN & BSN), they accept 30 applicants

Good to know. I hope it'll be sooner rather than later!

Hi everyone.... This is my first post. I also applied for the BSN program in the fall. Omg, over 400 applicants between both programs! They are taking 50 in each one. This waiting is killing me.

I had an advising appointment today and I was told letters wouldn't be out until mid-end of May.

I feel like they're throwing out random time frames now. I was told today that their deadline is mid-April. I can't deal with the bipolarness of this school, lol. I'm done waiting on them, I'm going to start applying to other schools next month, something I should've done from the beginning. I guess whenever we receive the letters is when we'll get them.

That's a REALLY long time!!!!! :/

I know!

I think everyone is just saying different things and it is so frustrating. Also, they told me my registration hold (advising) would be removed "by the end of the day". It's now after office hours and it's still there. I called around 3pm (my appointment was this morning) and they told me that again. Nothing!
