Middle Georgia Applicants Fall 2014

I have applied for Fall 2014 BSN program. My GPA is a 3.86. I was supposed to take the HESI tomorrow but the campuses are closed for the weather, so now I have no idea when I will be taking it.

They will probably keep the application period open a few extra days because some of the exam dates had to be cancelled. Im sure you will get in if you do good on the HESI because your GPA is high!! :up: .. Do you know anyone in the program and what their stats was when they applied? Do you know around about the time they will send out the acceptance/rejection letters? Some say March, but I have heard of people waiting as late as May:(! I hope I get in because MGS is the only program I applied to!

They rescheduled my HESI exam for February 13th. My sister applied for last fall and she said she got her acceptance letter at the end of March. She had a 3.6 total GPA and a 92 or 94 overall score on the HESI. She didn't end up attending the school though. MGS is the only school I applied to as well.

I'm applying for fall! My HESI was 93.5 (98 on math, 92 on the language) and my GPA is 4.0. After this semester I only lack microbiology and I plan to take it over the summer. I only applied for ASN. If I don't get in this time, I'll finish up my prereqs this fall and apply for both BSN and ASN in spring 2015.

I didn't get in last spring (I applied with a 96 on the HESI and 4.0), so I'm guessing I just didn't have enough of my classes finished?

I hope we find out this month! I was anticipating mid-May since I didn't find out until early December last year.

You have great Stats why didnt you get in? Did they give you a reason? Now you have got me really worried that I wont get in! lol...With your GPA and Hesi score I dont see why you wouldnt get in! The nursing dept. said letters will go out 4 weeks after the the application deadline so it should be any time now! :)

They didn't give a reason. I still had 3 classes (micro, world civ and intro to human development) to complete and I'm guessing that since 2 of those were core classes that must be why? Now I just have micro left and I'm planning to take it over the summer if I get in, so hopefully I will this time! It must have been that because I know people who definitely had lower grades and scores got acceptance letters. I'm hoping delaying microbiology won't make the same thing happen, but I had to take a lighter load this semester and I figured they might consider people taking summer classes. I hope so anyway!

I am so anxious waiting for these letters. I'm praying that my letter says that I'm accepted since this is the only school I applied to so far. My gpa is good and I scored ok on the hesi, best of luck to us all!!!

What program are you applying for? What is you HESI score and GPA as of right now?

I only applied to the BSN program. My hesi score was only an 87 and my gpa for the application process was an 3.68. The advisor told me I had a good shot at getting in so I'm praying that she was right. I wish I knew what the lowest gpa accepted last fall, then maybe I could breathe better lol!
