Okay, Lets get it started! Who has applied to Middle Georgia College for Fall 2014? If you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA and Hesi scores? My GPA is 3.8 and my Hesi score was 82 over all with an 80 in Reading and an 86 in math! Does anyone know what they base their decision on? More on GPA than Hesi? The wait is going to kill me! Is anyone already in the BSN program that can tell me how it is?
I only applied to the BSN program. My hesi score was only an 87 and my gpa for the application process was an 3.68. The advisor told me I had a good shot at getting in so I'm praying that she was right. I wish I knew what the lowest gpa accepted last fall, then maybe I could breathe better lol!
I called earlier today concerning that. The lowest/average gpa for the BSN program they accepted was a 3.4. You should be fine.
I finally registered on all-nurses after being a lurker for the past three years:blink:. I applied for the Fall 2014 BSN cohort, and I also had a meeting with my advisor this week, who informed me that they had until April 5th to make final decisions. She said to expect letters in the mail around the mid to end of April. I'm so anxious to find out, but at the moment I can't register for Summer or Fall classes because the advising hold is still on Sword:banghead:.
So I just called and they said the May 12th deadline is for the "second" round for selection. I'm assuming they didn't get enough qualified students for the Feb 15th deadline. I was told those who applied by the first deadline will be receiving letters by next week. This goes for ASN and BSN applicants. I'm just over the waiting game now it's been almost 2 months already.

A girl in my Chem class said they told her letters would be sent out in mid April. This waiting and wondering is killing me! I have an advisement appt. on Thursday of next week, so I will ask again and let everyone know the dates they give me! I hope they send them out soon because I want to sign up for other classes if I dont get in this round!
