has anyone attended this program? i take the entrance test in april and i dont know what to expect. is it very hard? is this program any good?

Hi PIINK, if you want to apply for the Brooklyn, Manhattan or Goldwater schools, you would have to call either the brooklyn or Manhattan school in late October to find out if applications for the initial test is ready. Usually, the Goldwater school does not handle applications until you move on to the second phase of the process. You can also go to the website www.cnetnurse.com and click on the link marked NYC LPN 2010 , there you can download the intial application when it is available.

In any event, whichever route you choose to get the initial application from, they are not usually available until november of each year to process for the next lpn class. Hope this helps.

Hi Gloryogo Please refer to the above quote. Good luck.

Good luck to everyone starting the NYC Board of Education LPN program tomorrow! Lets all get through this!:yeah::up:

i plan on apply to MMALC and i wanted to know do you need you assoicates degree to get in? and was it worth your time? i want to get my lpn and then work for a while, after i work i want to become a RN. and how did you get an application to get into the school?

if any one can answer this question please replay thank you

Hi, I went to BALC (Brooklyn site) there is no college degree required. Check cnetnurse.com for detailed info on the program. The course was worth my time. I am now an LPN and will go back to school this year for RN. www.cnetnurse.com

Hope it helps.

Applications can be picked up at any of the locations. You can call and find out when they will be available MMALC 212 666 2116. Sorry the location will not be your choice but you could get lucky and go to MMALC.

Is anyone going to apply for the program for next year?? If I'm not mistaken, the applications come out Nov, 1st!

What to study for the test? The test was easy or hard? I have been out of school for a while. Decided to go for nursing.
