Good luck to everyone who is making their way through the process, it would be helpful if everyone could post their test results and both the cnet and the tabe so we can get an idea of the profile of the candidates that they are looking for.

I took the Cnet on the 21st of March and as far as what type of candidates they are looking for i have no idea...my break down of the scores dont add up...

Reading.....i got 32 of 40 and that left me with 56%

Numerical Ability...i got 35 of 50 and that left me with 35%

Language....i got 48 of 60 correct and that left me with 40%

I basically got 115 of 150 correct and that leaves me in the 43rd percentile...

It doesnt make any sense to me..it seems as if i should have had a higher percentage...

UNFORTUNATELY, cnet does not rank you based on the actual amount of questions you get right. Rather, they score based on waht percentile your raw score is when compared to a group of candidates that score nationally. For example, i got a 45 out of 50 questions correct on the math section. This would normally mean that i had 90% right, but cnet said i ranked in the 74th percentile when compared to ppl who score the same amount nationally. :confused:

In actuality I would have passed if they were scoring it based on the ppl who took the test in the class...but instead they scoring it nationally.....Im done with the CNET...they making it harder and harder each year for ppl to get into the program..Im going elsewhere and do my LPN or go straight for the RN! :rolleyes:

Try Veeb. The entrance exam is not bad at all.

I also did not pass the CNET exam.

My reading score was 45%, with 30 correct

Math 37% with 36 correct

language 76% with 55 correct

I do plan on trying again next year. Nurseguy, or anyone who knows, can you tell me how many references do they ask you for?

Thanks Akanini...did u do veeb, if so, how was it...............im done with Cnet...this was my 2nd time taking it and although my scores were much better than they were last year...I still did not pass! Ill look into veeb.. I also checked out Monroe College but they want a bit much but well see

I'm sorry that you did not pass the cnet. It seems that its getting more amd more compettitive to get into nursing school. Don't give up try to some other programs .

They asked me to submitt three references from pre-made forms that they provided. Good luck on you next try to pass the exam

Hi Trini, I'm new here, but i also didn't do too well on the language ability but i received a 52 percentile overall, i also received a letter to take the Tabe,what does this mean?

Hi everyone, could anyone who have taken and passed the cnet and the tabe and have moved on to the interview process please describe your experience so far. For example, could share what the interviewer told you in terms of when successful candidiates will be notified and wether or not you thought your interview process went welll.
