Hello all,

I figure since those of us that have passed the waiting phase are now in the acceptance phrase and waiting to start the program we can start a new post.

Congrats to all again!

Who will be in Manhattan

And Brooklyn?

Where you getting your supplies?

Anyone plan on making many friends or keeping their head in the books at all times?

If possible this can be our go to for the year.

Hi guys. Was wondering if anyone is getting the nursing central app. Also, did you pick up any nclex review materials?

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted in the lpn program. Will be joining the brooklyn adult learning center in two weeks excited hope everyone enjoys their summer :-)

Lol. Be more like the shuffle since we will be lugging all those books. Up three flights of stairs with no elevator.

Idk. I just know it has three floors and knowing our luck we will be on the top floor like at the manhattan center.

Didn't Ms. ********* state that we bring all of our books on the first day just so they can check if we have them all, then we just leave them in the lockers and take each as needed?

They also said to make sure we buy a good lock for our lockers too! Bc there have been problems

Is it a good idea to bring all books to school? This books are so heavy and I Don"t have a car.How I will be able to carry all the books?

Yes I have one.

My concern is

carrying the books around everyday (incredible hulk arms n bad back by grad day)

Vs

Leaving books in car (I read That someone's books were stolen somewhere on here)

Vs

Leave in locker (need it at home, it get stolen... that was inferred at orientation)

I bought a rolling suitcase to haul my books and bought two locks for my locker. Even if we leave them there during the day still have to bring them home to study .

That means we have to carry at least one textbook home everyday, and u guys know heavy it is.
