Hello all,

I figure since those of us that have passed the waiting phase are now in the acceptance phrase and waiting to start the program we can start a new post.

Congrats to all again!

Who will be in Manhattan

And Brooklyn?

Where you getting your supplies?

Anyone plan on making many friends or keeping their head in the books at all times?

If possible this can be our go to for the year.

I am a very happy camper right now. Just ordered my scrubs from pulse uniform.com and got free shopping thru the USPS. I added $3 for tracking and just received emails that not only has my order been processed but they updated my shipping to UPS and shall receive it in 3-5 days instead of 6-8 days. Now to see how they fit when they arrive. Fingers crossed.

I just received my scrubs and they were true to size. A little long but true to size . Could've used more pockets but good quality and now I am officially ready for sept. 16th to roll around.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted into the program! I graduated from mid manhattan this june and passed my boards on august 5th :) It feels amazing to finally be an LPN! Its now time for some full time job hunting wish me luck guys!

Lots of luck and congrats!!!! Do you have any tips for us as we begin this journey?

It was intense, but work hard. Its alll worth it in the end. I really enjoyed clinicals (that will start for you guys in january) Writing the nursing care plans were a bit tough for me at first, but overall my clinical experience was amazing. It also pushed me to continue to further my education, ill be attending helene fuld this november to complete my last year for my RN.

What was the school like as far as lectures, testing and homework?

I will be in the Brooklyn school

Do you guys know what type of shoes we are suppose to wear when class starts in September? can we wear sneakers?
