Mid Manhattan / Brooklyn Adult learning lpn program Fall 2013

Hello all,

I figure since those of us that have passed the waiting phase are now in the acceptance phrase and waiting to start the program we can start a new post.

Congrats to all again!

Who will be in Manhattan

And Brooklyn?

Where you getting your supplies?

Anyone plan on making many friends or keeping their head in the books at all times?

If possible this can be our go to for the year.

Anyone wants to make the Fb group page? I'm terrible at things like that!

Here's the link to the page on Facebook. facebook.com/Brooklynlpn. I wanted to make it private but in order to do that we have to be friends on Facebook so right now it is an open community page. Once everyone joins then I can make a private group and close this community page. That's if you guys are interested.

I thought there would be an official orientation. Not the quick meet about uni's and such. Was hoping there was something about the curriculum, syllabus n stuff

@ Mom2ic4 Did you order the unisex adar 701? I only saw the unisex option. I wear a size 6 and ordered the unisex size xs and it is big/a little too roomy but wearable. I ordered size xxs so hopefully that will fit better.

I know we don't know what our syllabus is but has anyone started studying yet?

Yes I did from the website someone had posted here before. Received it the very next day. It is roomy but wearable but would have loved more pockets.

No I havent started studying yet. I dont want to overwhelm myself for I figure they must have a specific order they want us to learn the material and would hate to mess myself up.

Has anybody picked up a voice recorder?
