Congrats! I just completed the A&P exam last Thursday. Got an "A" on that one but I've had an A&P class at the college level before, too, so it was really just review. Unfortunately, it was over 5 years ago and Excelsior won't accept it. So I had to retake it. But I'm a little nervous about Micro. We'll see how that goes!

For A&P, I just used Study Guide 101 and the outline of Excelsior's study guide. I just needed a basic review. Can't wait to get these prereqs done and out of the way so that I can move on to the nursing classes. Again, congrats!

Congrats 4505....so you think I should be ok then for A&P?? I took it before too but it was 6 years old. I all does seem like a review as I am going thru it. How long did you study for it?

mochasouter, I studied for A&P for about a month. I did not study every day, though. I think you would be ok if you use StudyGroup 101. I did not even buy the textbook for the course.

Ok good. I have the sg101 cd. Thanks :up: ...I also still have my textbook from when I originally took it. On the sg101 cd it has a whole book on it....come to think of it, it's the same book I have except it's the newest version of it!! LOL! That's how long I planned on taking for this exam. Good to know. I downloaded the vangonotes from audible for A&P...

I took Micro today and passed with a C..not what I was looking for but that just means I have to make better grades on my other exams...I can now start this EC journey. A big thank you to all you guys on this site I have been on here since 2007 this site is the best..and BetterMeRN is a true blessing.

Jkkash if you have not taken the practice text with excelsior pear do so...that was a big help because I realized I was studying wrong...sg101 did not work for this exam...but vangonotes, and chancellor's.book helped a lot...Good luck to you:-)

I did do the excelsior tests and didn't do well on either...thanks for the study tips...I haven't used sg101

Kash...I got a 51 on practice exam A and a 39 on practice exam B and passed the real exam with a "C".....if you don't feel you are ready, don't take it just keep studying.
