It depends on what you can handle. id say go for the gold! personally, I was going to take both spring 2012, but the same teacher teaches both courses and gives WAY too much work. i knew it was in my best interest to take micro in the summer.

When I hear fellow classmates or other people complain about A&P course loads, or How impossible it was to take A&P with Micro or what not...I just think to myself "ummm ok and you wanna go to nursing school!?!?"

Better get used to it now!

It can be done if you're committed. I took both together last Fall and ended up with a B and an A. I don't work, I'm a stay at home mother so I was able to find plenty of study time.

It's totally up to you. Just know its time consuming. If you're willing to put in the time for these classes then you should be fine. There is a lot of material to be learned in these classes. My professor was very thorough so it made it bearable. I am a mother of three boys (youngest is 1) who keeps my hand pretty occupied yet I was able to take micro and a & p I and two other classes and still pulled out As in all classes. It was tough! Took up a lot of my time but that's two science classes that I was able to check off my list in one semester. Stay committed and motivated and bury your head in them textbooks. ;) good luck in what you choose to do.

I would like to know if its possible to take ap1 +& micro together next spring. This fall, I am taking biological chem, which is a pre-req for both.

well I just finished this spring 2012 semester with a 4.0 and I took 17 credit hours, including a chem 101 class! so I figure I should be able to handle two sciences in one semester :) thanks again everyone for the encouragement
