Hi all!
I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)
I didn't know I could download this appl ! I was always using the browser it was crazy.
Most ppl hire BS that's why it's hard to find a job when you graduate with an AS. I have hear lots of nurses saying that but you it's really all about luck I guess.
Anyways it would only takes us an extra year to get a BS if we really wanted to .
I have been checking the emails all day long and yes nothing today; if we do not get it tomorrow I don't know what I'm gonna do. I strongly believe tomorrow should be the day according to previous years.
They usually send them out by noon to 2 PM. Tomorrow is gonna be a stressful day for most of us !?
I did look at the Benjamin Leon Nursing Admissions page AGAIN and it has been FULLY updated. Earlier today is was only partially updated. Hopefully this is a sign that tomorrow is the day. It is true, as the time approaches I am looking for ANY detail that may give some insight in the notice. I'm so nervous.

Can you post the link to the page you mention. I am sure some of us are curious to take a look at what it says... lol

Hi Raquel, congratulations on pursuinf your nursing education even further!! I have a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind:
Why do you think it is so difficult to get a job as a newly grad RN? Do you think it's because of the ASN degree versus the BSN?
Did you graduate from MDC for your ASN? Thanks in advance! I'm just trying to prepare myself for the future. Good luck!
