Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

That's what I have heard as well Ariel. I live in Homestead, just minutes from the campus, so I already know that's the campus I will be given if this all comes to fruition for me.

I want to apply so bad but havent finish my micro class, im studying hard to raise the class so far i have a D, not good at all. Hopefully we all get in.

I just spoke with a friend who needs to go part-time because of her schedule, and she confirmed that it is only offered in Fall. She applied for the Fall 2014 and got accepted. She starts the third week of August.

I called Medical Campus today and I was told that I could go ahead and apply I just need to pay the application fee of 25 dollars and submit the application....Im so nervous...Im thinking about going Monday

Ariel, I am so excited you posted about this! Don't be nervous, you deserve this and you know it:) I am so happy for you, and I hope you fill us in on how everything goes when you apply. I cannot apply just yet, I need to take the exam in order to be exempt from the computer requirement. After that, I will apply.

Take a deep breath and go for it! You will get in!

They don't offer part time on spring and guys I already apply they told me a lot of people are applying I'm scare :( so I decided to also apply for dental hygienist

We will all be in the same boat until around mid October. I checked postings for the last Spring class, and they received e-mails around the 17th/18th of October; mark your calendar!

Thank you as well for offering me encouragement. It helps to know that we all have been through the same, and will hopefully go through the same together. It would be nice for us all to start the program together and have a support system already in place. It isn't going to be easy. Remember, tough times never last, but tough people do; that's my motto!

I will probably take the CSP exam at the end of the month. I wanted to give myself a bit of a break, as I have been studying for the NLN since May.

Yay yuremaa! I am so happy to know that you applied! Don't let other people provoke fear. I don't know if you believe in god, but if you do, he has this all planned out for you; nothing anyone says will change that.

I do believe in god and I know everything happens for a reason he already has everything planned out for us I have faith and hope that I will receive my email in October :)
