Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Sperky can you tell me what computer test ?

The CSP test. It is the Computer Skills Placement exam that satisfies the computer class requirement. It is only $30.00, and if you pass it, you don't have to take the CGS course. I have heard it is super easy!

The CPR course is $50.00 at Jackson Training Center. The Center is located in Homestead, and their # is: 305-248-6890. You can google their name with the city, and you should find their address. I am waiting for my friend to respond to find out if it is accepted by MDC. She is starting this Fall, so I suspect it is, but I asked anyway. I will let you know once I find out.

Sweetjun, I dont think so. In. Order to apply all your pre-requisites needs to be done my sept 1st

Hey can I still apply if I am taking mcb in the fall?

They require that all of the pre requisites be completed by Sept 1st which is the deadline to apply...But you can also call to ask because I know someone who applied after the deadline and still got accepted for the fall 2014...some times they make exceptions
