I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Hi I got into bridge program but face to face but is the same thing u will do lecture online and clinicals in the sites. For example first semester for me is Monday and Tuesday lecture thrusday Friday clinicals, in your case u will only go to the hospital thrusday and Friday for your clinical.

Guys i need to know if calculators are allowed for the mdc hesi, it's listed on the website that is not, but somebody said that a littler calculator is available, can anybody confirm this please? This for the hesi at mdc

Hi, I applied for the RN - generic, part time program this year. Unfortunately, I received a rejection letter today. My GPA is 3.5. I guess it wasn't good enough. Now I am in a limbo. Should I apply next year or look into different programs? I wonder what GPA is acceptable and how many students got in this year.

Sorry to hear that. You had a great Gpa. You should try again or try Broward College. I heard it's a good school. High passing rates.

I actually do, but I emailed it to them long time ago....i guess they lost it or something. I'm already in a BSN program, so I will just forget about it.
