Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

i have the med surg book in pdf file but its the tenth ed for all those that are interested

The med surgical book is so expensive !! That's the only book in missing --- where could I get it for a good price? Does it come with a code? If yes, do we need it ?

I got it brand new for 74 including shipping

I just received the med surge book (2 volumes) and I am extremely please with the quality of the textbooks. it took three days to get here from India and I saved a ton of $$[ATTACH]16817[/ATTACH][ATTACH]16818[/ATTACH][ATTACH]16819[/ATTACH][ATTACH]16820[/ATTACH]

Just left Jackson Hospital for my id badge an hour ago, and they still have not recieved the list of names for clinicals. Tomorrow everyone at the campus will be going on vacation so he may not get the list until school starts in January.

I have seen a med-surg book maching the price and seller location you described. However, it does not say 2 volumes. Did your seller noted that it was a set, or did you found out upon arrival that it was 2 volumes?

Upon arrival I found out it was the two volumes

They haven't send out the syllabus like they promised either. They mentioned it on the SOS Bootcamp and here we are with them about to go on vacation and no way to prepare for the first day of class.

i went to campus today and they told me first day of class you will have the syllabus . now its finals

During boot camp they said by test taking strategies day, we would have the syllabi. Not the first day
