Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Well, I also received a sealed copy but at the clinic they told me just to upload the documents to the website. That I did,and to my surprise the health form wasn't approved since it isn't the one that medical campus requires. How is that even possible since the wellness clinic was the one who signed and gave me the form when I completed all the tests? Well now I printed out the new form, which is 99.9 % the same as the one I had already and I will have to go back to the clinic to make them sign this new one and upload it again and wait until it gets accepted. Few days ago I read someone said don't worry there's still time till orientation... Well the sooner you are done with all the paperwork the better, bc you never know.

Same thing happened to me. Mine said that the document needs the health provider's stamp. When I called the clinic the lady said they don't use stamp and they have addressed this issue with the nursing department since several students have been calling them about that.

I have orientation this Thursday for bridge/transitional who else is going?... Does anyone know how long it will be?

Hi Ana, I am going to the orientation this Thursday as well. I am actually in the Generic program, but I can't go to that orientation on the 20th, so they allow me to come to the bridge one. I think it will go all day, but not sure. See you there :-)

After two years of waiting I finally get the call of my life. Miami Dade called me to accept me into their Full-time Bridge Program. The anxiety of waiting has taken over my life but the joy I feel is amazing

I don't know but when I went today they gave nee two copies one for the online/my personal records and another to hand in...

If you don't mind sharing you GPA, also when did you get the call? I'm freaking out...because I'm waiting as well.

Overall 2.9 Science gpa 3.2. The call came in at 4pm today and I have until this Wednesday to confirm my seat considering that the bridge orientation is this Thursday.
