Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

My bf called today and they said Tuesday more should go out.

Does anyone know of an affordable place to do the health screening in or near Homestead?

Has anyone done with all the paperwork I just uploaded everything but idk if I need to take hard copies to the medical campus? Any thoughts?

Have copies jic. I would call nursing school and ask... If you have time I would even go and speak to an advisor and show them proof and ask them to verify everything is okay. You don't want surprises last minute

Hi, i recently got accepted also, did you have to scan all your documents and upload to the system ?

i took my fingerprinting last week and still had not received anything. Should i be worried ?

I went this morning to turn in the hard copies the lady told me I just have to upload them on America data group. They don't receive any paperwork anymore. Only students who are taking classes right now are required to submit theirs. I got accepted into the rn-bsn program, I don't know if it's different for the other programs. I think you can call and ask, just to make sure that what she told me applies to all programs

Yeah I scan everything and upload it... My fingerprinting took around 3-4 days they are supposed to send you an email to go pick up the results at the deans office( medical campus) call the deans office maybe they already have it

I uploaded 3 docs and they were approved via american data group.. I just need to upload like 4 more when I get them done lol

Don't give up . I'm from mass with 3/4 of my nursing degree done there and no schools here will take any of my nursing credits ! Hang in there !

Has anyone heard anything in regards to more acceptance letters going out? I've called, but, they tell me between this week and next week. I still haven't received a rejection letter, so that's a good thing. Still hoping and praying there's a spot open for those of us still waiting to hear something.

Nothing yet I keep dreaming I get in hope that's a sign
