Good morning/night to all who are reading this,
I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?
I'm reviewing all of the 9 chapters for the third time today with three different method of studying. I have no idea of what will on the first exam and how the layout will be so I'm trying all the studying method just in case lol trust me, I'm pulling almost all of my hair out already.
It will be nice to get a few people to review each other sometimes before the end of this week since the exam will be next week. Anyone interested let me know. Maybe on Wednesday evening or Thursday after the lecture tomorrow.

LOL I feel so lost for fundamentals. I don't know what's important to study. Are you accelerated?
And how in the world have you read 9 chapters 3times over in 1 class alone? Do you work?

Me too !! It's so much information. And to think that the professor powerpoint will highlight the most important but noooo she bullet point every single sub topics of every chapter so I still have to read EVERYTHING anyway. I'm generic full time. I started the 6 chapters a week before class started when she initially sent out the syllabus. I guess getting a head start was a good thing. And yes, I work 18 hours a week. LOL all my free time has been invested into that giant book!

This may seem like a dumb question, how do you calculate your science GPA?
Is chem+lab, microbio, AP1/2+labs only calculated?
