Miami Dade College Spring 2016 nursing program admission

Good morning/night to all who are reading this,

I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).

Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?

How is that possible? I have also tried to sign up and nothing?

Yes - I attended the orientation on the 12th & they said that as long as we are compliant with Complio that we could start selecting our classes. I'm in the Bridge program and the speakers that spoke to us were pretty straight forward with what they had to tell us. We also had someone speak to us regarding ID badges for clinicals.

I just read up on the comments & I'm surprised that you guys are still not able to select classes.

Hopefully soon!! Make sure you know what you want coz the selections do go fast. Also, check Rate My Professors for side references on choosing your professors...I didn't exactly get what I *really* want for clinical site because I really a good instructor to mentor me...

They have to change your degree type and they only do that after orientation.

So I guess no one answers my questions ever LOL? Any so at orientation they will change our degree and then and only then will we be able to register?

Will there be any classes left? Thanks in advance
