  1. Mine is lavender purple. ? I don't think color matters...just make sure to not lose it or keep it out of sight!! Coz it can get stolen!
  2. I use the Classic. It does its job! ? if you want to invest in a more expensive one, go for the cardiology one. But I don't think it's necessary for school for now...just get one that works and does its job. And always be prepared. Just because one day you don't use it doesn't mean that you won't need it the next time. This is one thing I learned in LPN school if anything...just be prepared. ?
  3. I am only vouching for the stethoscope. LOL Stethoscope is hands down Littman. I love my Littman! It is on the pricey side, but think of it as an investment. It was gifted to me when I was in LPN school, and I continue to use it at work.
  4. That's awesome! I would've been so livid though due to the disorganization! I'm glad you got to pick it up.
  5. As long as it hasn't expired by the time you start, I wouldn't say why not? Then post the new one when you receive it.
  6. Really? They told us if anything that we would have to resubmit things that will expire before grad date...think we have to renew TB results next year even if we are about to graduate in December, that by Nov around this time, well maybe a little earlier for us, we have to have it in Complio or something like that. We didn't really have issues when it came to BLS/CPR...it was more or less the titers and Hep B..ask for an extension?? Show proof that you did do it (receiot maybe?) and put in that you're waiting on the card..
  7. What do you mean it's not ready? Usually you get it automatically everywhere else you go..
  8. Nursing RN Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) | Miami Dade College
  9. Course finder...then look up the course ID according to your program ? Nursing RN Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) | Miami Dade College
  10. It's up to you. They gave us a list of classes to help jump start for when it was time to select. You can already start "shopping" for classes though so you can have an idea of what you want. ?
  11. They did give us a book list. The uniform is green scrubs for lecture and white for clinical with the embroidery. We were told we could not get it anywhere else, though many speak of the uniform store across the campus...which kind of "OK" it, but in the end said that it all depends on your instructor that will be strict on uniform policy.
  12. During orientation, we weren't allowed to register for classes. We were told we would be automatically dropped. But after orientation, if you are compliant with Complio then you will be allowed to register for the classes. Hopefully you have the choice of selecting the classes/clinical site/instructors of your choice. Good luck! ?
  13. Yes - I attended the orientation on the 12th & they said that as long as we are compliant with Complio that we could start selecting our classes. I'm in the Bridge program and the speakers that spoke to us were pretty straight forward with what they had to tell us. We also had someone speak to us regarding ID badges for clinicals. I just read up on the comments & I'm surprised that you guys are still not able to select classes. Hopefully soon!! Make sure you know what you want coz the selections do go fast. Also, check Rate My Professors for side references on choosing your professors...I didn't exactly get what I *really* want for clinical site because I really a good instructor to mentor me... I hope you guys get what you want for your schedule!
  14. Best wishes to you guys! Already selected my classes for the first semester. Excited & nervous.
