Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

Hi all,

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

That score is great but all that matters is scoring high enough to get in. I got into generic with an 80 TEAS. Don't know how that happened. My sciences are 3.6.

I honestly dont even know how that happened! I felt the science was so hard. I thought i actually failed that part!

I don't think they are sending any more emails till people start to deny spots. By the way my scores were TEAS:80, Science GPA: 3.76, Overall Score: 85.6

How long do you have to respond to accept seats ? Can any one let me know please ?

My email indicates that I must submit my response form prior to Friday, October 26, 2012 t 4:30pm. I will be declining my seat for the part-time generic because I got into the transitional full-time.

I was accepted into both programs Accelerated and Generic so I will be declining generic and that wil open up a seat for someone. I think this is going to be a great thread for people to look at next year because we have put our competitive scores on here so they can see where they stand in comparison to this year and have a sort of idea of the posibility of getting accepted into the program. MiamiE I am going to call your guy about the CPR training today. I need that anyways, have two small girls and would love to know I could save them if anything happened to them!!!

Cool no problem! Do we have to fill out the response form for the program we are declining? I filled out the one for bridge, but I'm declining the generic admission.
