Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

hi! why did u get rejected? I'm applying for this fall and knowing some rejection reasons would give an idea if i have a chance or not.

I guess I got rejected because of my low gpa I'm going back in summer and I'm found to do business.

Hello everyone! hopefully I could be able to applying for the fall 2015 to the full time generic option. I have 3.92 cumalative gpa, and a 4.0 natural science gpa, but I still have one class to take, and that is Microbiology - Mcb 2010. I am aware of the deadline which is May 1st, for Fall 2015 program. I have spoken to some advisors, some told me yes and others have told me no. I was wondering if by march 16 or 18 if I am enrolled in Mcb 2010 will they be able look at my application?

Are u taking the micro class already? If yes then yes u can apply because grades go in may2 and they will not review applications until after grades are in. I am currently taking micro and mac1105 and I applied

[COLOR=#333333]did you have to take the A2 HESI test to apply to Broward College?. I went to the college today and it seem very easy to get into the program. If you took the test, could you please share your experience?[/COLOR]

Hello my classmates of fall 2015 :) I'm going to start with a positive mood and affirmations. Lol. I wanted to mention if anyone's is interested in applying also at Broward College South Campus at Pembroke Pines please let me know. Im going to start nursing school next year. Whoever accept me first will be the winner Lol. We got this !!! Sending all a good vibe.

150 students for full time and 40 to 50 for part time.

We are getting so close!!!!! I will be taking statistics and sociology to keep my mind occupied in the summer.
